So I havent been active on DA for a while now but I'd like to thank all the people who send me there warm words. I read all your replies and comments. <3
Anyway, here is me getting back to my roots and just painting something intimate and desolate at the same time.
I'd love to hear your stories for this one!
Feel like ive just stepped out side of the terraforming station onto the planet as the mist all around is the new vapour been added to the atmosphere.
Let's see...ahhh.... It's that quiet moment right before something big and predatory bounds in to stand on that rock in the focal point. Or maybe the dramatic moment right before a cowboy or Indian's ghost materializes through the dust....I'm leaning towards my first thought though--I could just see it coming in through the left.... I love the composition, the colors and how the eye travels through the picture. I like the simplicity of it, weirdly enough--a simple subject matter, but the level of detail really makes it shine. The detail of the dirt, the rock to the far left that's black from being backlit, the soft lighting to the far right....It's all wonderful. Excellent work!
